Description

This is the first story in the Donbridge Series which tells the tale of a young girl who was found deep in the forest and declared dead at the scene.  The sheriff of the town, knowing her parents worry, sought the girls mother who she in secret had a ring that was passed along through three generations of woman in her family.  The ring, as simple as it looked, gave long life to each of these women.  The mother, knowing this secret, hoped that the rings magic would bring her daughter back to life and so she placed the ring on her finger and when the girl did not come back to life, the town buried her.

Each book in the Donbridge Series contains recipes tied into the folktales which are found at the back of the book.
